Referrals
She referred two boys to the clinic with STDs and when they came back she gave them counselling about safer sex and how to use a condom. She referred two girls who were sexual abused by their father to the social workers. The father was arrested and sentenced to jail for six years.

He attended the Aids workshop at Women against women/child abuse in Garankuwa.
He was given leave to attend volunteer training by the Army. During part of the time, a substitute was arranged (Verah Mothopeng a volunteer from PPASA)
He referred one boy who has STD to the clinic and follow up was done until he was cured. He also counselled a girl who was having a family problem and referred her to the guidance teacher who followed up the problem.

She and the guidance teacher organised an event at the school for National Child Protection week. People from the child protection unit and the S.G.B. (school governing body) were invited and Edward Mabunda was invited to render a poem and give a speech.
